White Sangria Recipe courtesy Rachael Ray
This sangria takes 5 to 10 minutes to assemble in a large pitcher. Take the time to prepare it in the morning so the sangria has several hours to develop its fruity flavor. Pull it out when dinner is done is ready to serve that evening.
3 tablespoons sugar
3 shots Calvados or other apple liquor
1 lime, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
2 ripe peaches, cut into wedges
3 ripe green apples seeded and cut into wedges
1 bottle white Rioja Spanish wine or other dry white wine
1 pint raspberries
Sparkling soda water, for topping off glasses of sangria at table
Combine sugar, Calvados, lime, lemon, peaches and apples in a large pitcher. Cover with 1 bottle of Rioja wine and chill sangria several hours. To serve, spoon fruits into glasses or goblets, adding a few fresh raspberries in each glass, pour wine over top of the fruit. Top glasses of sangria off with a splash of soda water and serve.I need a recipe for sangria?
This is my favorite one......
2 tsp. sugar
1 orange sliced
A good shot of brandy
5鈥? oz. Rioja wine
Splash lemon-lime club soda
Add sugar, 2 orange slices and a good shot of brandy to a cocktail shaker. Muddle together until the sugar is dissolved. Add ice cubes to the shaker along with the Rioja wine. Shake and strain into a martini glass and top with a splash of lemon-lime club soda. Garnish with an orange slice.
Rachael Ray made it on Oprah and it is really good! I use Gingerale instead of club soda.... she said you could on the show and I think it tastes even better that way!I need a recipe for sangria?
this is how i make mine (i just kinda make them up, you don't need a recipe)
either red wine or white wine will do, any kind really, cause you're mixing it, so don't use your good wines for this.
juice - cranberry, pomegranate, orange (any of them is fine)
lime for a twist
and sometimes i add a shot of vodka to kick it up
use equal parts of wine %26amp; juice, add vodka if you like, then give it a lime twist.
very refreshing. if you do the orange juice, though, use white wine, not red. if it's too tart for you, add some sugar or simple syrup.
2 liters Burgundy wine
1 liter, rose
6 oz. brandy
6 oz. sweetened lemon juice
20 oz. orange juice
Pour all ingredients into a punch bowl and add several cups of ice cubes and stir well. Float orange slices, lime wedges, and cherries on top.
I just make a simple one with Cabernet, Sprite, Strawberry sauce, and lime, but you really can play with Sangria All you need is a red wine whichever is your favorite, your favorite fruit(blended to a juice or sauce works best), a clear soda can be club soda, ginger ale, sprite, 7 up I have even had cream soda (very good and you dont have to sweeten), and whatever garnish you decide to decorate or sqeeze into it.
Now for how to mix it, ALMOST half a glass of wine, ALMOST half a glass of soda, fill to rim with fruit, put into shaker and shake or serve over ice. and garnish! If you are making a batch so to speak just use a blender and a pitcher and follow the same rules.
Its half red wine, and half fruit juice. The best is fresh orange. IN Spain its common to add finely cut chunks of apple, pear, peach and/or thin sliced orange. Add sugar to taste, refrigerate, enjoy.
red wine ,orange juice and sliced citrus with a bit of sugar

Sangria Recipe
Chill overnight. Add ginger ale, berries and ice just before serving. If you'd like to serve right away, use chilled red wine and serve over lots of ice. However, remember that the best Sangrias are chilled around 24 hours in the frig. - allowing the flavors to really marinate into each other.

Just get your favorite red wine and pour into a pitcher. Cut up your favorite fruit and drop into pitcher. The best is lemon, orange or lime but anything will work. Then mix in 2 to 3 cups of club soda or some people use ginger ale. You can also add a shot of brandy or something like Grand Marnier.
I've tried a few recipes and this is the one people like the best. You can scale it up or down, depending on how much you and your friends want to drink.
2 bottles of red wine (Cab. Sauv. works the best, especially Yellow Tail or Lindeman's)
2 cans of Fresca soda
1/4 cup sugar
2-5 apples
1-3 oranges
1/2 lime
1/2 lemon
Pour the wine, soda and sugar into a pitcher or bowl and mix well. Then cut up the apples into small cubes and add them. Peel the oranges and place the wedges into the mix. My friends don't like the oranges as much as the apples so I tend to use less of them. For the lime and lemon, just cut them into small pieces and place them into the pitcher. Allow the sangria to sit overnight in the fridge before consuming. You will need to take out the lime and lemon before serving. I find it easiest to make a pouch out of the netting that the oranges came in and putting the lime and lemon in it. This way it is really easy to just pull out the pouch and serve.
Glyphdoc's Sangria
4 Valencia oranges
2 lemons
1/2c sugar
1/4c Grand Marnier
2 bottles of some cheap fruity red wine...I use Outback Chase Shiraz
A few dashes of Angostora Bitters (or better yet Peychaud's Bitters)
Add the wine to a pitcher
Add the sugar and GM
PEEL and slice 2 oranges and 1 lemon
Add the slices to the mix
Juice the remaining 2 oranges and 1 lemon
Add the juice to the mix
Add the bitters
Stir
Let this set overnight. Pour over a packed full glass of ice in a highball glass and enjoy.
