WHITE WINE SANGRIA
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon or 1 stick cinnamon
2 bottles dry white wine
1 tray ice cubes
1 lemon
1 orange 1 banana
Combine 1/2 cup water, 1 cup sugar and 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon or 1 cinnamon stick. Bring to simmer and cook 5 minutes. Slice 1 lemon, 1 orange and 1 banana. Pour hot syrup over fruit and refrigerate.
At serving time, transfer fruit mixture to a large clear glass pitcher. Add 2 bottles dry white wine, such as a burgundy. Add a tray of ice cubes and stir. Serve in wine glasses.
Cooks Tip: You may substitute dry red wine for white wine. In addition to fruits listed here, you may use peaches, nectarines or strawberries.White wine sangria recipe?
The beauty of sangria is that it is a wine and fruit punch. As with any punch you can make it to taste. Citrus fruits are used most often, but I have seen thinly sliced apples and various melons used also. You could even use grapes, but I imagine that you'd have to peel them. Simply pour your chosen wine into a large bowl or pot (like a dutch oven. Slice the fruit as thin as possible, put it in the wine and allow several hours for the wine to absorb the fruit taste. If it's for a party that evening, I would suggest making the sangria by noon, if not earlier. You can also add things like 50/50, 7-up, Squirt etc.White wine sangria recipe?
Ingredients
2 bottles dry white wine

1 bottle Club Soda or Seltzer
1 Lemon
1 Orange
1 can 7-Up庐 -- Optional
Directions
Transfer fruit to a large clear glass pitcher.
Add 2 bottles dry white wine, club soda and 7Up if you like a sweeter sangria.
Add a tray of ice cubes and stir. Serve in wine glasses.

INGREDIENTS:
1 Bottle of white wine (Riesling, Albarino, Chablis, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc)
2/3 cup white sugar
3 oranges (sliced) or may substitute 1 cup of orange juice)
1 lemon (sliced)
1 lime (sliced)
1/2 liter of ginger ale or club soda (ginger ale for those with a sweeter tooth!)
PREPARATION:
Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the orange,lemon and lime into the wine. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and add sugar. Chill overnight. Add ginger ale or club soda just before serving.
If you'd like to serve right away, use chilled white wine and serve over lots of ice.
Addition ideas: sliced strawberries, peaches, handful of fresh blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, a shot or two of gin, brandy or rum, a cup of citrus-flavored soda pop
