My mom gave me a bottle of ';Spanish Passion'; Red wine from a nearby winery. I'm having a party the day after tomorrow and would like to turn it into Sangria. The label say's it is is ';sangria style'; wine, made from 50% red grape wine, 30% peach wine and 20% orange wine. Does anyone know a recipe I can use using this wine?? I've been looking up recipes and they all include sugar and orange juice and reg red wine, and I'm not sure I'll need the sugar and orange juice with this wine. Thanks in advance.Need A Sangria Recipe?

I looked up the wine itself online and it looks like the only thing you need to add is fruit and fizz. Normally I just used soda water in my sangria but taste the wine and see how sweet it is you might be better off with sprite to sweeten it up. I generally put in 1 part fizz to five parts everything else. with a 750ml or 24 oz bottle use 150ml or 5 oz. For fruit just cut up whatever you have on hand. Oranges, lemons, limes, apple, pears, peaches, pineapples everything and anything works.
Really, there are many variations. I like to make PEACH sangria:
Cut up some lemons and peaches (peaches are on SALE right now in most regions), put them in a big glass jug, and smush them just a little. Pour in a can of peach nectar (I like the varieties found in the mexican section of the grocery. Let this stand for a few hours in the fridge. No need for sugar.
When ready to serve, pour in the bottle of wine, and 1/2 cup peach schnapps. Stir well, then add a can of club soda or selzer water. Stir lightly and serve with ice..
I found this website with tons of recipes on possible ways to make different sangrias. I looked at some, and they were all to good! I decided to give you the direct link so you could decide which sangria you would like to make most. Also, people have rated these recipes, and left reviews, which you can read while deciding on which recipe to choose!

Good luck!
Sangria recipe:to 1l of red wine ad 2l of 7up(fizzy lemonade),slice 2 oranges inside, some peaches, grapes, kiwis.(can be any fruits what you want to put in your drink and you think will taste nice)ad a few cinnamon sticks
Live it to stand for at least 2 hours. Before serving ad some ice,and enjoy your drink!
P.S if you think the drink won't be strong enough just ad more wine or you can also ad some brandy or bacardi for an extra Kick.
mix the vino with a blend of (orange slices/pineapple/peaches/mango/all things tropical....a little bit of sprite or other fizzy and I do like to add a bit of o.j. if needed...may need to add some vodka if you need it to still be high ';oct'; ...nice glasses, big ones/ with a mix of cheese and grapes for the presentation.
