I don't use vermouth, grenadine or vodka. I like it with orange juice, a bit of sweet and sour, freshly chopped fruits and peach brandy. You can also add some spice like cinnamon and cloves if you are in the mood but I usually make it without. I never made sangria with vermouth or grenadine. You're supposed to use vodka, triple sec and brandy (not too much brandy) and you are supposed to use fresh fruit and sugar to make it sweet.
There are two receipes white and red; both are killer.
