looking for a sangria recipe with not a whole lot of expensive alcohol in it. thanks!Looking for a good sangria recipe?
I make a great white sangria that is called ';blue sangria'; because of the use of blue curaco in it. If you don't have that on hand, use any orange based liquor. If you can find the vino verde, use it, it is very inexpensive.
1 bottle white - I use a Portuguese white called Vino Verde but any non oakey white will do (sauvignon blanc, pinot grigio...etc)
2 shots orange liquor
2 shots peach schnaps
1 can 7-up or sprite
1 apple cut up into sangria sized pieces
1 peach cut up into sangria sized pieces
1 tablespoon sugar
cut fruit and add to all the liquor and sugar (don't add the wine or sprite yet)
Let marinate for a few hours
When ready to drink, add the wine and sprite and serve cold over ice.Looking for a good sangria recipe?
