I have made this version several times and it is always a huge hit.
2 bottles red wine (cab-sauv works best, especially Yellow Tail)
2 cans Fresca soda (the basic citrus flavor)
1/4-1/2 cup sugar (as much as you can dissolve0
apples, oranges, limes and lemons (remove limes and lemons before serving)
Mix the soda, wine and sugar together, then add in fruit. Chill overnight and then remove limes/lemons before serving. You can also try adding pears, mangos, etc. in addition to the apples and oranges.
